returning

i find a hidden oasis of green 
i soak in springtime serendipity 
i am secluded from the rest of the world 
but the daisies keep me company
they sway on a blanket of grass 
taking in the universal life forces 

i let go 
give it all away to the soil underneath
my bare feet 
mother earth takes my negative energy 
and sends it to the depths of the earth's core

she sends up a wave of positivity
it permeates through the skin of my toes
it flows up to my heart 
and into my mind 

i breathe it in 
i let it circulate through me 
i come back to myself 
i watch my thoughts drift by 
like puffy white clouds 

voices of past, present & future whisper to me 
"you are exactly where you need to be"
